Notice for Winter Travel Planning in Japan
The New Year's holiday is the long winter vacation period in Japan, when accommodations and transportation, including the Shinkansen are extremely crowded with many travelers. Please be aware of this when planning your trip to Japan.
From December 27th, 2024 to January 5th, 2025, Nozomi trains will be operated with all reserved seats on the Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen. There will be no non-reserved seats.
