Expo is taking place in Osaka

At the Expo site, where you will be greeted by one of the world’s largest timber structures, the “Grand Ring”, a symbol of the future, you can experience the latest technologies and a new future for society! See flying cars, a future connected by 5G and a world where we live side by side with robots for an experience that is straight out of a science fiction movie! There will also be a variety of exciting events held over the duration of the Expo. We invite you to experience entertainment of the future all in one place at the Expo!

Access

  • From Shin-Osaka Station on the Tokaido Shinkansen, take the JR Kyoto Line (A46) to Osaka Station (A47), transfer to the Osaka Loop Line (inner loop) for JR Bentencho Station (O15), and transfer to the Osaka Metro Chuo Line at Bentencho Station.
  • From Osaka Metro Shin-Osaka Station (M13) take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line to Hommachi Station (M18) and transfer to the Osaka Metro Chuo Line. *The Osaka Metro Chuo Line runs directly to Yumeshima Station (C09) in front of the venue (East Gate).

The "Golden Route" travelled on by the Tokaido Shinkansen is a must on your travels to Japan! This route, connecting Tokyo and Kyoto known as the Tokaido, was largely used as major road by merchants and travelers during the Edo Period (17th~19th Century) and now exists as a shinkansen line. Dotted with some of Japan’s most alluring cities and tourist attractions, including Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, Shizuoka, Nagoya, Kyoto, and Osaka, this route has come to be called as the “Golden Route” for abundant appeal. The Tokaido Shinkansen provides easy access to all these spots and more.
