          Traveler's Choice

During hiking season a hike up iconic Fuji is essential if you have the stamina for it. But if that is not your taste a visit to the surrounding area with the view of Fuji is a beautiful picture.

The seafood bowl at Numazu Port was very tasty. I would recommend it to anyone coming to Shizuoka.

Traveling by Shinkansen is so comfortable, you will forget you left before you get there. The railway bento is a must!

Kamaboko making experience is one of the activities I would recommend!

The ocean is beautiful and the hot springs are secluded so you can relax in peace and quiet.

I'm not really in a rush, so I booked Shinkansen thru Shinkansen online reservation service, which enabled me to travel comfortably in the Green car (Upper Class Car) of a slower Kodama train from Shin-Osaka to Shizuoka station.
