Morning: Forest Bathing Along the Takimichi Path

Leave the Shinkansen behind and travel to the foot of the Minoo mountains. Start your morning with a gentle hike through lush forests and ancient rock formations.

10:00 - Arrival at Minoh Station via Shin-Osaka

From Shin-Osaka Station, take the subway and Hankyu Railway to reach Minoh Station in about 40 minutes. Begin your walk on the "Takimichi." Don't forget to stop at one of the small shops to buy "Momiji no Tempura"—real maple leaves deep-fried in a sweet batter.

11:15 - Minoh Falls & Tojin Modori-iwa Rock

Admire the massive "Tojin Modori-iwa" rock along the trail, named for a legend of an ancient visitor who was too intimidated to pass. Reach the stunning Minoh Falls, where the 33-meter drop creates a refreshing mist. It’s the perfect spot for deep breaths and photography.

Afternoon: The Spiritual Power of the "Winner's" Temple

Transition from the soothing waters to a vibrant world of red Daruma dolls. Visit a historic temple revered for centuries for its power to bring success.

13:30 - Katsuo-ji Temple: The Sanctuary of Daruma
